Add chicken broth and heat until brown and cooked through. Cut the chicken into pieces and set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the potatoes, garlic and onions to the same pan. Continue cooking until the potatoes are tender and the onion is translucent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add broccoli, peas, carrots, and asparagus; encouraging connection. Add another 5 minutes to cook.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix the vegetables with parsley, salt, thyme and flour. Mix the meat mixture with the flour and let it sit until it is well dispersed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While whisking constantly, slowly add the chicken broth and milk and let the sauce thicken.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Return the chicken to the pan. Combine all the spices and mix.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and sprinkle cheddar cheese on it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place in the prepared oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the top is puffed and darkened.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let it cool slightly before serving.<br>Variations and Ideas<br>You can make this low-fat recipe with low-fat milk and whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour. You can also add peppers and zucchini or any other spring vegetables you have on hand.
