{"id":1331,"date":"2024-10-04T14:09:44","date_gmt":"2024-10-04T14:09:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/boodiz.com\/?p=1331"},"modified":"2024-10-04T14:09:45","modified_gmt":"2024-10-04T14:09:45","slug":"chicken-cordon-bleu-lasagna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/boodiz.com\/?p=1331","title":{"rendered":"CHICKEN CORDON BLEU LASAGNA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-50101ebfc010a87145bda45b11ceccfc wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>INGREDIENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One 8-oz lasagna noodle packet<br>one and a half cups butter<br>One 8-oz container of cream cheese that has softened<br>half a teaspoon of salt<br>One-half teaspoon of chili powder<br>One-fourth teaspoon ground black pepper.<br>Shredded Swiss cheese, 1 and 3\/4 cups<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">one-fourth cup heated milk<br>Two and a half cups of cooked chicken and eight ounces of cubed deli ham<br>Half a cup of finely shredded Swiss cheese<br>one-third cup of breadcrumbs<br>Half a teaspoon of Italian spice, or more or less, depending on taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8a14ccb57c9f69789668352b39501835 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>INSTRUCTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preheat your oven at approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit, or 200 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour some salt into a large pot of water and bring it to a boil. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, add the lasagna and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the lasagna is cooked but still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Run off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Melt the butter in a medium-sized saucepan. After adding the cream cheese, stir for about five minutes, or until the cheese begins to melt. Add some salt and black pepper after chopping the onions. Whisk together the cream cheese and heated milk until smooth. Mix in 1 1\/2 cups of Swiss cheese. Bring the sauce to a boil and whisk frequently once the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened, which should take five to ten minutes. Remove the stove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transfer 3\/4 cup of the cheese sauce to the bottom of a 9&#215;9-inch baking dish. Place a third of the sauced lasagna noodles on top, followed by a half of the cooked chicken and a half of the ham. Drizzle a cup of sauce onto the chicken and ham. Begin by adding half of the leftover lasagna noodles, followed by half of the leftover ham, half of the leftover chicken, and one more cup of cheese sauce. Layering again as necessary. Finally, cover the top with the remaining lasagna noodles, sauce, bread crumbs, Italian spice, and half a cup of Swiss cheese. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The casserole should be bubbling after about 25 minutes of baking in a preheated oven. Remove the foil and bake the crumbs for a further 10 minutes or until brown.
