{"id":1890,"date":"2025-01-09T18:58:09","date_gmt":"2025-01-09T18:58:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/boodiz.com\/?p=1890"},"modified":"2025-01-09T18:58:10","modified_gmt":"2025-01-09T18:58:10","slug":"creamy-parmesan-italian-sausage-ditalini-soup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/boodiz.com\/?p=1890","title":{"rendered":"Creamy Parmesan Italian Sausage Ditalini Soup"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<br><\/strong>1 pound of casing-free Italian sausage<br>One tablespoon of olive oil<br>One little onion, chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two minced garlic cloves<br>One can (14.5 oz) chopped and drained tomatoes<br>Four cups of chicken stock<br>One cup of heavy cream<br>One cup of elbow or ditalini pasta<br>One cup of Parmesan cheese, shredded<br>Half a teaspoon of dried basil<br>Half a teaspoon dried oregano<br>To taste, add salt and pepper.<br>Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To cook the sausage, heat a big pot&#8217;s olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up as you go. After taking the sausage out of the pot, place it aside.<br>Saut\u00e9 the Aromatics: Put the minced garlic and chopped onion in the same pot. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the onion is transparent.<br>Add Tomatoes and stock: Stir in the chicken stock, dry oregano, dried basil, and diced tomatoes that have been drained. Heat the mixture until it boils.<br>Prepare the pasta:<br>After adding the pasta to the boiling broth mixture, cook it for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it is al dente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cream it up:<br>Turn the heat down to a moderate level. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and heavy cream, stirring to melt the cheese and thicken the soup.<br>Put Sausage Back in: Put the cooked sausage back in the pot and toss it into the soup.
