INGREDIENTS:
¾ cup milk and ¾ cup water
4 tablespoons (56.7 grams) of softened butter
Half a cup (50 grams) of sugar
8.5 grams (1½ teaspoons) of salt
3¾ to 4 cups (468.75–500 grams) all-purpose flour
Two to three tablespoons (7–10 grams) of quick-rise yeast
Melted butter for brushing after baking as a topping
INSTRUCTIONS:
Set aside a 9 x 13 baking pan that has been lightly oiled or sprayed.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine water, milk, butter, sugar, and salt; heat for 1 minute. Transfer to a stand mixer after stirring until the butter melts.
- Fill the mixer with roughly 3½ cups of flour and yeast. Using the paddle attachment, mix on medium speed until the dough is soft and slightly sticky, adding more flour as necessary.
- For 6 to 8 minutes, knead using the dough hook.
- If you are kneading by hand, move the dough to a surface dusted with flour and knead it for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Using a scale for precision, divide the dough into 15 equal pieces and form each into a ball.
- Put the dough balls on the pan that has been prepared, cover with a towel, and let them in a warm location to rise for approximately 20 minutes, or until they have doubled in size.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown, at 350°F.
- Take out of the oven and brush with melted butter right away.
- Let cool slightly before serving and savoring!
