INGREDIENTS:
One can of ground beef or refried beans
One cup of sour cream
One cup of salsa
One cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
One cup of lettuce, shredded
Half a cup of chopped tomatoes
Half a cup of black olives, sliced
1/4 cup of green onions, chopped
Half a teaspoon crushed cumin
A half-tsp of garlic powder
To taste, add salt and black pepper.
Chips made from tortillas (for serving)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Get the Layers Ready:
Combine the sour cream, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and ground cumin in a small bowl.
Put the salad together:
In the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch dish or a serving dish of a comparable size, evenly distribute the ground beef or refried beans.
Then cover the refried beans with the seasoned sour cream.
Cover the sour cream layer with the salsa.
Evenly distribute the cheddar cheese shreds on top of the salsa.
Cover the cheese with an equal coating of the shredded lettuce.
Add a layer of chopped tomatoes after that.
Top with chopped green onions and sliced black olives.
Accompany the dish with tortilla chips.
