No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Oat bars are popular because they taste similar to chocolate chip granola. This delicious dessert is made from oats and chocolate and is finished by sprinkling chocolate on it. The best? Prepare to be amazed! It’s not just summer; year-round winners that will satisfy your baked chocolate and oatmeal cravings; no oven!

What You’ll Need 1 cup butter
½ cup packed brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups quick-cooking oats
cup chocolate chips
½ cup walnut butter
Chocolate Oat Bars That Require No Baking: The Recipe

Line a 9×9-inch square pan with grease.
melt the butter over medium heat. Mix vanilla and brown sugar. Toss in the oats. Mix the ingredients and cook over low heat for 2-3 minutes. In the bottom of the pan, press half of the mixture. Hold on to the other half to find out.
Then melt the palm oil and chocolate in a heavy pan over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. Gently spread the chocolate mixture on the cake with a spatula or the back of a spoon.
Pour the remaining oat mixture over the chocolate and press gently. Leave covered in the refrigerator for at least two to three hours or overnight. Let it cool completely before cutting it into pieces.

  1. Ma’am you shouldn’t use ANY KIND OF PALM OIL ON ANYTHING! Reason being do you know that they are cutting all the palm trees down in the rainforest to make way to raise cattle( this humiliates me beyond belief) the palm trees is where the orangutans monkeys live in THOSE TREES 😢😢😢 It is so very sad, now, they have nowhere to live. I read all lables in grocery stores & anything with palm oil in it. I DO NOT BUY AT ALL!!!! We must all start caring about out animals that live in jungles and rainforest. Thank you

  2. Where does the walnut butter listed in the ingredients come in? How much oil (I use vegetable oil, not palm oil) goes into the chocolate chips to melt? How much choc chips, 1 cup? This receipe sounds good but things are missing!
