Boat Dip (Rotel Ranch Dip)

All you need are a few basic ingredients to quickly prepare this crowd-pleaser!
Components:
One 10-ounce can of drained Rotel diced tomatoes with green chiles

One package of ranch dressing mix (1 oz)
8 ounces of softened cream cheese
One cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
One cup of sour cream
Half a cup of mayonnaise
One tablespoon of optional spicy sauce (for added spiciness)
Chips made from tortillas, for serving

Instructions:
Get the Dip Base ready:
Put the ranch dressing mix, mayonnaise, sour cream, and softened cream cheese in a medium bowl. Stir until thoroughly mixed and smooth.
Include the Rotel:
Stir in the diced tomatoes and green chilies from the drained Rotel. Stir until well combined.
Cheese It Up:

Add the cheddar cheese shreds and stir. Add spicy sauce to taste if you prefer it hotter.
Chill and Serve: To give the flavors time to combine, place the dip in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
