Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter
5 tablespoons pure sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon fine grain salt
2 cups flour
2 cups chopped walnuts, almonds or pecans
1 1/ 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
Mix soft butter with powdered sugar. Add vanilla.
Preparation:
Mix salt, flour and chopped walnuts.
Form the dough into 2.5cm balls or flat cookies and place on an ungreased baking tray. Bake in the oven at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. While hot, roll in powdered sugar. Let it cool and roll it in powdered sugar.
