Two cups of regular Ritz Bits crackers, or if you’d rather, cheesy crackers with cheese and garlic flavor
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
One teaspoon of garlic powder
Pdry, half a teaspoon
As much as half a teaspoon of dried basil,
A quarter teaspoon of salt.
For flavor, you can add 1/4 cup of optionally grated Parmesan cheese.
Getting ready:
Preheat the oven to 300°F, or 150°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Prepare the seasoned butter:
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, dried parsley, dried basil, salt, and melted butter. Stir well.
Put a lid on the crackers:
Place the Ritz Bits crackers in a large mixing bowl. Gently stir the crackers to coat them evenly after adding the seasoned butter.
If using, top the crackers with Parmesan cheese and combine again.
Bake: Spread the coated crackers out in a single layer on the baking pan.
Bake the crackers in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until they are crisp and brown. Be careful not to overbake them because they might burn quickly.
Before serving, chill:
Allow the crackers to cool for a few minutes after removing them from the oven. Serve warm or at room temperature.
