Ingredients
One pound of ground beef Use a 90/10 lean cut.
Five ounces of tomato sauce and ⅓ cup water
Half a cup of ketchup
One teaspoon of yellow mustard
Worcestershire sauce, one teaspoon
Two tablespoons of chili powder
Half a teaspoon of salt
Half a teaspoon of black pepper
Half a teaspoon of sugar
Half a teaspoon of chopped onion or onion powder
Directions
The ground beef and water should be combined in a medium skillet over medium heat.
While the ground beef is cooking, be careful to keep breaking it up. You want it to be as fine as you can.
Remove any leftover grease or water by draining.
To your slow cooker, add the beef.
Then, combine all the other ingredients and whisk.
Cook for 2 to 2 1/2 hours on LOW.
Serve over burgers, french fries, or hot dogs!
