Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs

Ingredients:

2 racks pork ribs
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
salt, one teaspoon
(optional) 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
to taste salt and pepper
Sesame seeds and grated cheese (optional, for garnish)

Method:

Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs.
Season the ribs with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and chili powder.
Place the ribs in the slow cooker.
Mix barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, and garlic in a bowl.
Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

Cook the ribs until they are soft by covering them and cooking them on low for 6 to 8 hours.
For a caramelized finish, place the ribs on a baking sheet, brush them with extra barbecue sauce, and bake them in the oven for 3-5 minutes until sticky and somewhat charred.
If desired, garnish with sesame seeds and grated cheese.
Serve warm with a side of coleslaw or mashed potatoes.
