INGREDIENTS:
• 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 2 ripe bananas, sliced
• 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
• 2 cups heavy cream
• 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• Cocoa powder or chocolate chips, for decoration
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press mixture into bottom and top sides of 9-inch pie plate. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, then cool completely.
Meanwhile, place the unopened can of sweetened condensed milk in a pot and pour in water.Bring the water to a gentle boil and simmer for 2 to 3 hours. Make sure the box is always completely submerged in water. Let the box cool completely before opening. When the crust and condensed milk have cooled, spread the caramel condensed milk evenly over the crust.Arrange banana slices over caramel layer.
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Spread fresh cream on bananas.
Decorate with cocoa powder or grated chocolate. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before eating.
