Copycat Texas Roadhouse Steak

• 2 pounds sirloin

• 1 tablespoon brown sugar

• 1 tablespoon salt

• 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

• 2 teaspoons black pepper

• 1 teaspoon paprika

• 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

• 1 teaspoon chili powder

• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

• 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

• Place all ingredients in one sealed ziplock bag. Seal the bag tightly and shake to mix all the ingredients.

• Then spoon the spice mixture generously over each fillet (front and back).

• Let the steak rest at room temperature with the spices for at least 40 minutes to marinate.

• Preheat your grill to 400 degrees F.• Spray grill doors with oil or wipe with oil. I use vegetable oil, but olive or canola oil work great.

• Place the steaks on a hot grill and cook for 3-5 minutes, depending on how you want to cook the steak.

• Flip the steak over and grill for another 3-5 minutes, depending on how you want to cook your steak.

• Then remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for at least 5 minutes before cutting or serving.
