INGREDIENTS:
One pound of ground sausage
One 10-ounce can Drained 8 ounces of melted cream cheese, chopped tomatoes, green chilies, and rota
Two cans (8 oz each) of crescent roll dough
INSTRUCTIONS:
Prepare the sausage:
Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until it is browned and cooked through. Empty any extra oil.
Prepare the filling.
In the skillet with the sausage, add the softened cream cheese and stir until it melts and is well mixed. Add the drained Rotel and stir until well combined.
Get the Crescent Rolls ready:
Turn the oven on to 375°F, or 190°C. On a level surface, roll out the crescent roll dough and divide it into triangles.
Roll and Fill:
Put a dollop of the sausage mixture on each crescent triangle’s broad end. To enclose the filling, roll each crescent from the wide end to the tip.
Bake:
Place the crescents on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes.
Serve:
Serve them warm after letting them cool slightly.
