Ingredients:
Diced and unpeeled apples: 4 medium (500 g)
Three large eggs
180 ml (3/4 cup) of milk
Sugar from Cane: 150 g (3/4 cup)
A pinch of salt
300 g (2 1/2 cups) of flour
80 ml (1/3 cup) of seed oil, or any mildly flavored oil
Ten grams of baking powder (2 teaspoons)
Half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
Instructions:
Set the Oven’s temperature to 180°C (360°F). Line a baking pan with parchment paper or grease and flour it.
Apple preparation involves chopping the apples into little pieces and putting them aside.
Combine Wet Ingredients: Beat the eggs and cane sugar in a large bowl until they are light and frothy. Add the lemon zest, milk, seed oil, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until combined.
Add the dry ingredients:
Add the cinnamon, baking powder, and flour to the wet mixture and sift them in gradually. Avoid overmixing and stir gently until just mixed.
Fold in the apples:
To ensure they are uniformly distributed throughout the mixture, gently incorporate the diced apples into the batter.
Pour into Pan: Using a spatula, level the top of the batter after pouring it into the baking pan that has been prepared.
Bake: Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, in a preheated oven.
Cool: After taking the cake out of the oven, let it to cool in the pan for ten or so minutes. After that, move it to a wire rack to finish cooling.
