Ingredients: Bread Ingredients:
Four cups (480g) of flour
One cup (220g) of yogurt
One cup (200 ml) of water
Baking powder: one 10-gram packet
One teaspoon (8g) of salt
One tablespoon (10ml) of vegetable oil
Regarding the topping:
50ml of olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix Dry Ingredients: Put the flour, baking powder, and salt in a big bowl.
Pour in the yogurt, water, and vegetable oil to add the wet ingredients. Combine all ingredients until a soft dough is formed. To make the dough more manageable, add a bit extra flour if it’s too sticky.
Shape the Dough: To bring the dough together, turn it out onto a floured surface and knead it for a short while. Separate the dough into smaller pieces, then flatten each into a circular form that is roughly ½ inch thick.
Cook the Bread: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Put the rounds of dough into the skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
Apply Olive Oil: Apply olive oil to the top of each piece of bread before turning it over. This produces a gorgeous golden crust and adds taste.
Serve and Savor: You can serve your warm bread with any meal or with your preferred spreads or dips.
