Ingredients:
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
One cup of sugar granules
Two huge eggs
One teaspoon of vanilla extract
Half a cup of cocoa powder
One teaspoon of baking powder
One cup of all-purpose flour and ¼ teaspoon salt
One cup of chocolate chips that are semi-sweet
Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
Get the dough ready:
Put parchment paper on two baking pans and preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Melted butter and granulated sugar should be combined in a big bowl and whisked until smooth.
Whisk in the eggs and vanilla essence until well blended.
Add the baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder and sift. Blend until smooth.
Add the flour a little at a time until the batter is thick. Add the chocolate chunks and stir.
Form the cookies:
Use a tablespoon or cookie scoop to drop spherical balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spreading them about 2 inches apart.
Prepare the cookies:
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the centers appear slightly underbaked and the edges are firm. After five minutes of cooling on the baking pans, move the cookies to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Serve:
If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar and dig in! For the ultimate treat, pair these cookies with a glass of milk.
