INGREDIENTS:
One package of either homemade or premade croissant dough
Cheese One cup of shredded cheese
The mozzarella Half a cup of shredded cheese
Half a cup of diced ham
One beaten egg (for egg wash)
Chopped parsley for garnish
Melted butter to brush on top
INSTRUCTIONS:
Warm up the oven: Set the oven temperature to 375°F, or 190°C.
Get the dough ready: The croissant dough should be unrolled onto a spotless surface. Divide the dough into separate triangles.
Put the Rolls Together: Place a tiny piece of ham and a heaping dollop of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on each triangle of dough.
Roll Up the Croissants: Roll each triangle of dough into a crescent shape, beginning at the wide end.
Egg Wash: To achieve a golden, glossy finish, brush each croissant roll with a beaten egg.
To bake, put the rolls on a parchment paper-lined baking pan. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and melted and the croissants are golden brown.
Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley after taking out of the oven.
