INGREDIENTS:
1 loaf Pane Di Casa Vienne or sourdough bread, unsliced
2/3 cup melted butter
4 garlic cloves, crushed (or 1 tablespoon minced garlic)
1/3 cup pizza sauce
1/4 red onion, chopped
chopped 1 large ripe tomato,
3-1/2 oz 100 grams small pepperoni slices
Fresh basil leaves, finely grated
3/4 cup chopped mozzarella cheese 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs or Italian Seasoning
INSTRUCTIONS:
Prepare the oven and heat it to 175°C or 350°F. Put crushed garlic and melted butter in a bowl and mix small.
Stir until well combined.
Cut the bread surface diagonally from top to bottom.Line a baking tray with foil. Place the bread in the prepared baking tray.
Drizzle half of the garlic butter sauce on the bread. Drizzle pizza sauce over garlic butter. Top the bread with tomatoes, onions, basil, pepperoni and cheese.Pour remaining garlic butter sauce over bread, then sprinkle with Italian herbs. Cover the bread with foil.
Place it in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted. Uncover and cook for another 10 minutes or until cheese is completely melted.
Remove bread from oven and cool completely to room temperature.Eat hot and enjoy
