Crockpot Bread recipe

Ingredients:

  • One packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) of active dry yeast
  • Three cups all-purpose flour
  • One teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups heated water
  • Optional garnishes such as cheese, nuts, or herbs
    Instructions:
  1. Combine the flour, yeast, and salt in a large mixing basin.
  2. Stir the dry ingredients until a dough forms, then gradually add the warm water and olive oil.
  3. On a surface dusted with flour, knead the dough for approximately five minutes, or until it is elastic and smooth.
  4. Return the dough to the mixing bowl, cover with a fresh kitchen towel, and let it in a warm location to rise for approximately one hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  5. After the dough has risen, form it into a loaf and put it in a slow cooker that has been oiled.
  6. Place a lid on the slow cooker and cook the bread on high for two to three hours, or until it is golden brown and makes a hollow sound when you touch the bottom.
  7. Before slicing and serving, carefully take the bread out of the slow cooker and allow it to cool on a wire rack.
