Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken Bites with Savory Parmesan Linguine

Ingredients
For the Chicken:
One pound of skinless, boneless chicken breast, sliced into small pieces
One lemon’s juice and zest
Half a teaspoon of Italian seasoning

To taste, add salt and pepper.
Half a teaspoon of paprika
Three tablespoons of butter, separated; three chopped garlic cloves
Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

For the Linguine Parmesan:
Eight ounces of linguine
Two tablespoons of butter
Grated Parmesan cheese, 3/4 cup
Half a cup of heavy cream
A half-tsp of garlic powder
Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Directions
First, prepare the linguine.
Bring a big pot of water that has been salted to a boil.
As directed on the package, cook the linguine until it’s al dente.
Drain the pasta, saving a tiny bit of pasta water for later use in adjusting the consistency of the sauce.
Put the spaghetti on hold.

Step 2: Season the chicken bites and cook them.
Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika, and lemon zest while the pasta cooks.
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
Add the seasoned chicken pieces after the butter has melted.
Cook, tossing occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes.
After taking the chicken out of the skillet, place it aside.
Step 3: Make the Butter Sauce with Lemon Garlic.
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the same skillet over medium heat.
Be cautious not to burn the minced garlic when you add it and sauté it for one to two minutes, or until fragrant.

To combine the flavors, add the lemon juice and boil for approximately one minute.
The sauce will start to get a little thicker.
Prepare the Parmesan sauce in step four.
Add the garlic powder and heavy cream to the skillet. Mix thoroughly to incorporate.
Allow the sauce to thicken by simmering the ingredients for three to four minutes.
Add the grated Parmesan cheese gradually, allowing it to melt into the sauce and give it a creamy, smooth texture.
Season to taste with more salt and pepper.
Use some of the pasta water you set aside to thin out the sauce if it’s too thick.

Step 5: Mix the sauce, chicken, and pasta together.
Coat the pasta in the creamy sauce by tossing the cooked linguine in the skillet.
To ensure that the pasta and chicken are equally covered in sauce, add the cooked chicken pieces back to the skillet and stir everything together.

Step 6: Present and Add a garnish
Garnish with freshly cut parsley and serve the pasta hot.
If preferred, top with more Parmesan cheese for added flavor.
