Take your Brussels sprouts game up a notch with this garlic butter recipe. These delicious Brussels sprouts are cooked and seasoned to perfection, making them a delicious side dish.
INGREDIENTS:
1 kilo Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Parmesan cheese for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
Completely plan the growth of Brussels. I cut it in half. Rinse under water and dry with paper towels.
Melt the butter in a large pot.
Add the chopped garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Add the Brussels sprouts to the pan in a single layer, side down.
Cook the Brussels sprouts, uncovered, for 5-7 minutes so the cut side turns golden brown.
After examining the Brussels sprouts thoroughly, carefully throw them into the pan, check and cook.
Bake the Brussels sprouts for an additional 5-7 minutes or until cooked through and still crispy.
Sprinkle the Brussels sprouts with salt and pepper and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
To give the Brussels sprouts a different taste, sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on them just before serving.
