Kentucky butter cake

1 cup butter, light
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs, room temperature
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 / 2 teaspoons baking soda

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup diced butter
1/4 cup water

  4. I did read your butter sauce recipe. It didn’t mention molars.until I read how to make it. How much molasses do we use?

    but.. what does it mean mix sugar and sugar till light.. and add the butter mixture and butter souce.. to the other side..?? what does that mean?
