INGREDIENTS:
3 pounds skinless chicken breast, sliced
3/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup rice vinegar
2 garlic cloves, minced
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
4 tablespoons ground corn
1/4 cup hot water
1/4 cup chopped green onion
INSTRUCTIONS:
Steps to great taste:
Place the chicken cut side down on the bottom of the fourth layer.
Put the soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, garlic and ginger in a separate bowl. Pour this over the chicken.
Close and cook for 5 hours.
When the chicken is ready, lift it up. For the remaining sauce, mix the corn and hot water until smooth. Add this gradually to the sauce to thicken it.
Return the chicken to the slow cooker and make sure it is covered with the sauce.
