Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken

INGREDIENTS:

Two pounds of chicken chunks, your choice of white or dark flesh (or both).
One cup of pineapple juice
1/4 cup of tightly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup soy sauce (I’m going to try the reduced sodium variety)
One medium can of chunky pineapple (optional)

One tiny onion, finely sliced (I’ll use a vidalia)
pieces of green pepper (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a crock pot or slow cooker, combine ingredients. Cook for 6–8 hours (on low, I believe). (I’m speculating because the recipe source omitted the temperature.)
