INGREDIENTS:
For the Chicken:
Four skinless and boneless chicken breasts
One cup of softened cream cheese
1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
One teaspoon of garlic powder
One teaspoon of onion powder
Half a teaspoon of smoked paprika
To taste, add salt and pepper.
Two cups of crushed Doritos in the flavor of nacho cheese
Two tablespoons of olive oil (for brushing)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Lightly grease a baking dish and preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the cream cheese, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, crumbled bacon, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
- Make sure not to cut all the way through each chicken breast by carefully cutting a pocket into it.
- Stuff the cream cheese and bacon mixture inside each chicken breast, and if needed, use toothpicks to secure the edges.
- Lightly press smashed Doritos onto each packed chicken breast to ensure they stick.
- Transfer the coated chicken breasts to the baking dish that has been prepared and drizzle some olive oil over the tops.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the coating is crispy and the chicken is cooked through.
