Country Ranch Green Beans ‘n Potatoes with Bacon

1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
1 ½ pounds baby potatoes (red or Yukon gold), halved or quartered
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

One packet of ranch seasoning blend
Three teaspoons of melted butter
Two minced garlic cloves
To taste, add salt and pepper.
Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Prepare the potatoes:

Bring salted water to a boil in a big pot. The potatoes should be soft when probed with a fork after 10 to 12 minutes of cooking. After draining, set away.

Bring the water to a boil in the same pot and cook the green beans for 5 to 7 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender. After draining, set away.

Combine the minced garlic, ranch seasoning, and melted butter in a small bowl and whisk to combine.
Put Everything Together:

Add the crumbled bacon, green beans, and boiled potatoes to the skillet with the bacon fat that was set aside. Cover everything with the ranch butter mixture and toss to coat.
Serve:

To taste, add salt and pepper. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
