Baked cottage cheese chips are light and crispy, making them the ideal low-carb, high-protein snack.
INGREDIENTS:
One cup of cottage cheese (drained, tiny curds)
One-sixth teaspoon of powdered garlic
- ¼ teaspoon powdered onion
- ½ teaspoon of optional dry herbs, such as parsley or thyme
To taste, add salt and pepper.
Spraying with olive oil (for baking)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Set the oven temperature to 375°F, or 190°C. Lightly spray a baking sheet with olive oil after lining it with parchment paper.
- Get the cottage cheese ready by thoroughly draining it to get rid of extra moisture. Combine the cottage cheese, salt, pepper, dried herbs (if using), onion powder, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Create the Chips: Place tiny mounds of the seasoned cottage cheese on the baking sheet that has been prepared using a tablespoon. Using the back of a spoon, gently flatten each mound into thin rounds.
- Cook:
The chips should be baked for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are golden-brown and crispy all over. To avoid burning them, keep a watch on them.
- sit and Serve: To make the chips even crispier, let them sit on the baking pan for a few minutes. Serve these crispy cottage cheese chips with your preferred dip or as a snack!
