Beef and Pepper Rice Bowl

Ingredients:
One pound of ground beef
One sliced red bell pepper
One sliced green bell pepper

One little onion, chopped
Three cups of cooked brown or white rice
One-fourth cup of soy sauce
Two tablespoons of hoisin sauce
One tablespoon of sesame oil
One teaspoon of garlic powder
Half a teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon optional red pepper flakes
Two sliced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions:

To cook the beef, heat a large skillet over medium heat with sesame oil. Break the ground beef into crumbles after adding it and cooking it until browned. Empty any extra oil.

Sauté the vegetables by adding the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper to the skillet. The vegetables should be softened but still slightly crunchy after 4 to 5 minutes of sautéing.
Add the ground ginger, garlic powder, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using) and stir to season. Allow the flavors to combine by cooking for a further two to three minutes.

Mix with Rice: Fill the skillet with the cooked rice. Make sure the rice is evenly covered with the sauce and beef combination by giving it a good stir.

Serve: Divide into dishes, garnish with sliced green onions, and serve warm. Have fun!
