Ingredients
One unbaked pie shell (I use the deep dish that Marie Callendar makes)
Three huge eggs
Half a cup of sugar
Half a teaspoon of salt
One-half teaspoon of nutmeg
Two to three cups of milk
One teaspoon of vanilla essence, pure
How to get ready:
Set the oven’s temperature to 350 degrees. Add the milk, sugar, salt, and nutmeg after gently beating the eggs. Beat into the unbaked pie shell until fully combined. For 35 to 40 minutes, bake. Take out of the oven and let it cool. Serve the pie with a dusting of freshly ground nutmeg on top.
