Ingredients:
Two cups of toasted and finely chopped pecans
One cup of crumbs from graham crackers
One cup of packed brown sugar
Half a teaspoon of salt
Two teaspoons of maple syrup
Half a cup of apple juice (or, if preferred, bourbon)
One teaspoon of vanilla extract
Half a cup of melted chocolate chips (for dipping)
Instructions:
Combine the dry ingredients:
Put the salt, brown sugar, graham cracker crumbs, and roasted pecans in a big basin.
Add the moist ingredients:
Add apple juice (or bourbon), maple syrup, and vanilla extract and stir until fully blended and cohesive when pushed.
Create the Balls:
Place the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper after rolling it into 1-inch balls.
Cool the Balls:
To make the balls firmer, freeze them for approximately half an hour.
Dip in chocolate:
Depending on your preference, partially or completely coat each ball by dipping it into the melted chocolate.
Put the chocolate on:
After the chocolate has completely set, place the balls that have been dipped in it back on the parchment paper.
Shop:
Until they are ready to be served, place the pecan pie balls in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
