Ingredients:
One 14 3/4-oz can of salmon
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 egg
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
Directions:
First, open the salmon and make sure it is well drained.
- Transfer the drained salmon to a mixing dish and use a fork to flake it evenly.
- Include the egg, mayonnaise, flour, corn meal, and onion. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Form the ingredients into patties that are no larger than a typical burger.
- Cook over medium heat in a skillet with oil until browned on both sides. While frying, turn once.
Note: The mayonnaise prevents the patties from being overly dry and helps them maintain their shape.
