Cold fruit salad is now a thing of the past. This classic recipe is a healthy and delicious way to eat fruit. You can prepare almost any meal with it, but it also makes a great side dish!
This old recipe comes from my grandmother’s box. This is a fun version of marshmallow fruit salad, but even more fun because it’s cold!
Perfect for holidays or summer snacks. Cold fruit salad can also be a simple dessert.
This recipe is still a staple on my family’s holidays. Aunt Jenny makes this often and it’s available every Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces cheese, soft
2 cups cream, and plus for serving
1 quart Strawberries, peeled
2 large bananas, sliced and diced
20 ounces crushed pineapple, drained
INSTRUCTIONS:
Frozen Fruit Salad Instructions
STEP ONE:
Mix in a bowl cream cheese and strawberries.
Add the crushed pineapple and slice or dice the bananas and spread over the cream mixture.
STEP TWO:
Divide evenly
STEP THREE:
Dessert put it in the refrigerator until it hardens.
When you’re ready to serve, let it sit on the counter for 10 minutes. Dip the knife into hot water and cut the cooled dessert into pieces.
